The polls Sadden me. His approval rating for anything should be about 4%. His hate, incompetence, insecurity, ignorance is so transparent. You have to work real hard and stupefyingly to find anything about the man to approve of.

then his approval ratings will go down..but there will always be 30-35 % that think he is the greatest ever no matter what the facts..

Justice matters.

And also, a lot of young bullies on social media, they either were not born during the Reagan years or they were too young to remember his terms. Nixon is old history for them too. A history they don't know and don't want to learn.

He can’t get reelected again and has 3.5 years left, these polls are meaningless to him.

53% think the economy is getting worse (they probably gave a percentage who think it is getting better, but it didn't make it to my notes).

54% think Trump is more responsible for the state of economy than Biden, while 21% think Biden is more responsible (a flip in responsibility from whose responsible in a March poll).

58% disapprove vs. 42% approve Trump's new tariffs

63% dislike vs. 37% like his manner of adding/changing tariffs

Trump's net approval rating: negative 6 points -- the first time in a CBS News/YouGov poll he's been net negative

In all cases they compared to earlier polls and in all cases the trend line for Trump is getting worse.

Why? The people who voted for him will give him a chance (50% of voters), and he is in the news apparently keeping his promises about government spending and illegal immigration. The negative consequences of the cuts are yet to be felt by most voters AND apparently ICE can't find many of the "illegals" which is why they are busy kicking legal immigrants and folks on visas out of the county- to pad the numbers. If he continues with his America First tariffs and causes a recession, that will really hit his numbers hard.

He's been in office less than 3 months so far and it's been a complete shit show. We can all see it. Are we going to deal with 4 years of this?

Some voters are beyond help if eight years of negative evidence weren't enough.
