Really becoming worried the only way to stop this...

Is going to be a nation wide strike or enough Republicans growing a spine to impeach or a civil war.
Because it's clear they will ignore the courts.

protect their gated neighborhoods from swarms of very armed and angry people with nothing to lose. There will be a breaking point, it's just a matter of when. The fascism here is worse than any other in the world because it doesn't even pretend to placate the peasants which is why it will fail dramatically. Just look at the French revolution as an example.

I doubt the Republicans will call an end to this. We need at least 20 Republicans in the Senate to convict and remove from office both Trump and Vance, plus a Democrat in the position of Speaker of the House to stop this.
This is assuming we could actually get the House to impeach those two, and Mike Johnson was not still Speaker, since the Speaker of the House is next in line, and he's not much better than TDrump and Vance.
As unfortunate as it is, I think Civil War may be tho only way to save our Constitutional Democratic Republic.
And that could end up tearing our country apart.
We're in a bad place right now; no good solution in sight.

legislation from getting through. Unless something unforeseen happens to trump or vance, it will be most likely 2028 that will be the very last chance to take save our democracy, but like you said, if they start to disenfranchise voters, all bets our off.

We are in a Constitutional Crisis right now I believe, and from my perspective, since trump is only obeying court orders he wants, nothing should be off the table, including secession from union, or a Constitution Convention.

because the same old weasels just change their uniforms when a winner becomes likely and the same old shit starts right up again.

Massive civil disobedience and monkeywrenching might be a much better idea, neither involving large crowds, organized violence, or uniforms. Both can have a0palling personal consequences, but by the time we're ready to go that route, we won't care much. I didn't.

Republicans will not grow spines.
A nationwide strike can be waited out while the captive media establishment "both sides" the real grievances and deflects discussion from the real issues. If a general strike is tried and fails the choice becomes guns or subservience.

without the Senate, and Johnson has said he'll do whatever 47 wants. We need another effective answer short of bloodshed and martial law (which is what he's expecting to do just as soon as he can).

A national strike sounds good on paper but America isn't quite built to do it. Most people are still grasping the idea that he's not following any rules, making it up as he goes along, and has dismantled or disabled many of our federal institutions on the way to replacing them with privatized versions, if at all. With the apparent blessing of the GOP House, most of the GOP Senate, and most of the GOP governors and legislatures.
