about tsf's 'pet causes' that he's extorting these law firms to defend-

we ALL know, tsf’s pet cause is himself. i think he believes he’d have kept the wh if only he’d had better lawyers. laws, to him, r just obstacles to b surmounted w a good lawyer.
those 60+ cases he lost, he rly thinks the rt lawyer wd have won. hopeless case doesnt seem to b in his vocabulary. and y wd it b? he’s been messing w ppl in court his entire adult life, dragging it out til the other party goes under, negotiating down stuff he signed a contract to pay, declaring bankruptcy, and blowing off judgements as a matter of course.

i think this vendetta is equal parts intended to crush lawyers who might challenge him, scare off some, but also getting white shoe firms to go to bat for him, thinking that will get him off the hook for his crimes. i think he figures somewhere in those ranks is his next ‘my roy cohn’.
and he may b right. i am stunned by how cowardly these big firms r, how craven.

watch this very interesting democracy docket report about a group of law students that is standing up to this admin. there r so many ppl who cd put the brakes on this mess, at least in part. so many w the power. but r they? no. damn the rich r cowards.
luckily there r more of us than there r of them. r there more law students than rich, white shoe lawyers? i hope so.
