Now, about the video: On Monday, federal agents smashed the window of a car in Massachusetts and arrested Juan Francisco Méndez, a Guatemalan immigrant with no criminal record.

He and his wife were waiting for their lawyer when it happened. Méndez, who is undocumented but working to adjust his status, was taken to an undisclosed location. His wife, Marilú—an asylum recipient—had petitioned for him. They have one child.

According to Marilú, they had just left home when unfamiliar cars appeared. Moments later, three vehicles boxed them in. Armed men in green vests ordered them out. No names. No badges.

This is not law enforcement. This is intimidation. (Sorry, we couldn’t upload the full video.)

"Working to adjust his status" means he's vulnerable AND he put himself on ICE's radar.

The tactics are uncalled for. There are plenty of other ways to arrest, but they're trying to intimidate. The orders have been handed down on these methods.

Trump used ICE and border control agents as his private military the first time.. and they gave every sign of being fully on board with his desires.

Biden should have cleaned house. Federal employees were grabbing US citizens off the streets in unmarked vehicles to try and scare protestors. Those who participated in this should have been terminated at bare minimum. Prosecutions of those who did it, as well as those who ordered them to do it should have followed.

Instead they just ignored it all. And now Trump has a publicly funded private army that has evidence that it is beyond prosecution or consequences, no matter who is in power next.
