Several tornadoes moved throughout the Omaha area. One just touched down just north of the metro area, by the North Omaha airport along Blair High Road, doing major damage to several homes, some deemed uninhabitable and several farm buildings were heavily damaged a
Or destroyed.

Fortunately no one was injured or killed. The path of storms started west of Omaha and moved rapidly leaving people with very little time to take cover.

My brother’s car was totaled from the baseball size hail that moved through Fremont.

The storm moved in to Iowa and around midnight it started to let up. The last report from authorities “they are trying total up the number of tornadoes in the area as of noon today”

Just less than a year ago, April 26, 2024, tornadoes left a path of destruction for several miles from Lincoln thru Elkhorn, Bennington to Blair.
