Jane Wiedlin has a nice decal on her guitar.

I had the hugest teenage crush on Jane Wiedlin (The Go Gos and Sparks) back in the early 80s. I have an even bigger crush on her now with that decal she’s sporting on her guitar! 💕

Pete Seeger

Had one also: "This Machine Kills Fascists",

... but that was Woody Guthrie. Pete Seeger had one on his banjo that said "This Machine Surrounds Hate and Forces It to Surrender."

I was teetering on Woodie, for some reason I did not consider the instruments. I think I might use youtube and google to get reacquainted with the "Weavers" (I think). In these times it would seem very on point. I remember when one of there songs "Little Boxes on the Hillside" was banned in the very early sixties. It was said to be "communist".

Seems like a great project for today; a fun memory jog. My memory needs it.

Written by Malvina Reynolds, who doesn't get nearly enough credit for her amazing career. I don't know if the Weavers ever recorded it, but Pete Seeger (an original Weaver) did release his version of it.
