I had the hugest teenage crush on Jane Wiedlin (The Go Gos and Sparks) back in the early 80s. I have an even bigger crush on her now with that decal sheâs sporting on her guitar! ð

... but that was Woody Guthrie. Pete Seeger had one on his banjo that said "This Machine Surrounds Hate and Forces It to Surrender."
I was teetering on Woodie, for some reason I did not consider the instruments. I think I might use youtube and google to get reacquainted with the "Weavers" (I think). In these times it would seem very on point. I remember when one of there songs "Little Boxes on the Hillside" was banned in the very early sixties. It was said to be "communist".
Seems like a great project for today; a fun memory jog. My memory needs it.
