Repressive Country

I’m watching YouTube about post WWII rebuilding. Everything that was done in the fascist countries, is what we are as a country now. Article here about jailing two German teenagers in Hawaii because they didn’t have hotel reservations. Pulling people off the streets. I’m genuinely concerned Trump may open fire on protesters.
I’m a first generation citizen, who could be deported back to Ireland even though never stepped foot there. I know doubtful, I’m white.
Ex-Bronx here, and I can’t imagine all the people living there worrying about their safety.

I don’t know how this ends, but this country may never come back. Maybe I’m just down, but I ready for the end of this country.

Even though disabled, going to protests.

3. As each day passes, I think more and more that good is going to triumph over this evil.

Look toward the light. See the outcome you want to see. When that thought enters your head, replace it with the best outcome. I'd like to believe our dreams can become reality. 💙

I am trying to see all the good. But no matter what happens now, it will take years to fix.

5. Germany, Italy, and Japan recovered. We will, too.

But I think that we're in for some really rough times before the MAGA regime is out and recovery can begin.

They will not go quietly or willingly. But, when things get bad enough, the people will demand that they or be removed. That's when it's likely to get really bad.

6. It will take time. Maybe the youth can fix it better than it was before.

Believe me, I get where you are, and tomorrow I could be back with you. I have well embedded negativity deep in my bones. I have to fight it. Maybe, we will evolve from being so chimp like, and become more like the bonobos. People have disappointed me often. But when I'm at a protest and I meet people every age and every walk of life it fills me with a rare joy. Yes we can!
