I'm sensing something has come to a head... I'd have thought she would have given some notice, but not even a few days, a week or two, a month?

That's what kimbutgar posted and got me curious about this, and also hoping it wasn't true.
Still it seems abrupt as you said. Hopefully it's not a serious health issue causing this.

But it is hard not to.

I wish her the best. I listened to her all the time back in the Air America Radio days, along with Rachel, Marc Maron, Al Franken, Janeane Garofalo, Sam Seder, Lizz Winstead, and all the others. What talent, but sadly, only RW radio seems to have much chance. Podcasts, though, have evened the field a bit.

I hope DUers who have followed her closely in recent years will weigh in if they hear anything more.

8. Me too. I got to meet Randi in Seattle at an AM1090 Progressive Talk Radio event years ago.

I love Randi. She is brilliant, funny, and kind. I know she had breast cancer a while back, which is what her sister died from. Hopefully, she just decided that dealing with the burst dam of bullshit from the T💩p administration was getting to be too much. I know it is for me.

10. All I know is this...

Randi did her share of carrying the load, no one else was smarter, no one knew more. Now it's time for the younger generation to do their share of the lifting. This from a 30 year fan when she was on WIOD in Miami back in the day. One of my big thrills was the day in our cars when I saw her on Lantana Road in Lake Worth and I got to tell her I loved her. She's been on a real personal journey since I posted this thread 11 months ago. She's pulled through and is now publishing her own thoughts and views on her substack account. In fact she just posted a new article today!
