President Donald Trump said will deliver commencement addresses this spring at the University of Alabama and the U.S. Military Academy in West Point.

Trump shared the news in a social media post late Monday night.

Trump spoke at seven commencement ceremonies during his first term as president from 2016-20, according to USA Today, including at West Point in June 2020.

Alabama Sen. Katie Britt issued a statement Tuesday saying Trump’s commencement speech at Alabama will be “a historic occasion.”

“Thrilled @POTUS will deliver the 2025 commencement address at the University of Alabama,” Britt wrote in a post to X. “What a tremendous honor for my alma mater. Looking forward to a historic occasion for graduates and their families. Roll Tide!”
