Trump’s making a big change to the White House grounds — and says he’ll pay for it himself

President Trump unveiled his latest plans to shake up the White House grounds on Wednesday — announcing he will pay for two large flagpoles.

The president came out of the residence in the morning to survey the grounds on the north side and was spotted with groundskeepers, who were spreading their arms, showing just how large the flags were going to be.

“We’re putting up a beautiful, almost 100-foot-tall American flag on this side and another one on the other side, two flags, top of the line,” he later told reporters outside the White House.

“They needed flagpoles for 200 years. It was something I’ve often said, you know, they don’t have a flagpole per se. So we’re putting one right where you saw us, and we’re putting another one on the other side, on top of the mounds. It’s going to be two beautiful poles.”

I tried to help my niece who bought a house to be in the Shenandoah Area of VA /Woodstock, VA
(400 miles away) a couple of years ago until she got nasty to me and so I finished the first part of
what I was doing and left so she had the lawn care guy come in and “finish up” the landscape. (Btw
I had planned the work to be a 2 year project). The gravel road and the native rock was all a slate
grey but he came in with this white rock and granite cobbles that didn’t match the surroundings @
all and looks like tacky crap. She also let all these wonderful native plants die because she didn’t
water them.

She also had her lawn care guy put in some burning bush and day lilies too. Non native invasive
crap that I have been fighting for years.

on me. “How do you see us moving forward together?” She even tried calling my aging
mother with dementia and asked her if she had paid me anything on the project in order
to get out of paying me for my work and materials. That left my mom sad, confused, and
upset and then she sent me an invitation to her wedding. Which I skipped @ which she tied
into my son about what a shit I was.

I could have had a flag fly over the White House, like you said, or over the USS Constitution which is the oldest commissioned war ship.
I didn't want one from the house Bush was living in so I chose the Constitution, I don't regret it to this day. Nice small shadow box and certificate to go with it.
