Top CIA official's 21-year-old son killed in Ukraine after joining Russian army

The son of a CIA deputy director joined the Russian military and was killed in Ukraine last year, according to a Latvian news source. Previously, his obituary said he died during his "travels overseas."

A most curious tale.

I wonder if they killed him and blamed it on Ukraine.

goes to fight for Russia. I'm sure the Russians knew nothing about his background...
and I'm sure this had nothing to do with his untimely and pointless death. I'm sorry for their loss, but his
smart (by all objective indications) parents evidently raised a gullible child - that, or maybe he had some
organic condition (e.g., schizo-affective disorder) which if the case, is tragic.
SMDH. There's a lesson here. Parents, no matter what your background, freely discuss thorny
issues with your children from early on. Respect their opinions, but encourage informed skepticism and inoculate
them from social manipulators.

I hope the Ukrainian soldier who ventilated your traitorous carcass gets a medal for it.

He joined the Russian Army, which is a war, with no intention to fight. Really. Did they shoot him?
His mother the CIA Deputy Director was compromised for a very long time...what did that cost us?
