A large portion of Trump voters voted on culture, not economics

These voters completely bought into the bigoted Republican narrative that immigrants, women who succeed in the workforce, transgender people, Black people, Hispanic people, anyone who isn't white, are the ones standing in their way of a better life for them. They bought into it completely.

I ran into a woman I know yesterday. Trump voter. Late boomer or early Gen X. White. She is angry at Trump. She thinks he's going to cause a recession. She's worried about the student loans she owes for her kids college, she's worried about her retirement. She thinks the con is a narcissist and can't stand listening to him. But, she said she had no choice. She couldn't vote for Kamala Harris because she thinks she's a "diimwit". Yeah, Kamala Harris, a woman with degrees in economics and law, a former AG, a Senator, a Vice President, is a dimwit in her eyes. That's not economics. That's bigotry.

They didn't hear the economic message. They only saw their bigotry. VP Harris offered a strong eoncomic message. The con artist did not.

1. I am going to say most of them. Then the ones that cannot hire a woman, and a black woman.

Then you have the asses that protested Israel. Those uninformed that are struggling and just tired and need to pay for groceries so kids can eat, but they did not pay attention. Huge was the social media part of culture especially for the 20-40 yr olds especially sucked into the man blog shit.

4. With all due respect, duh (as we said in the 80s) --

somehow this country was able to elect Barack Obama twice, but they could not find it in themselves to vote for a black woman. And I do believe religion was a big driver on this. I am one of those white early gen X ladies - and happen to live in Texas. I can look & dress like them, but will never fit in because "my church" is not the first phrase that comes out of my mouth. They are all in with the christo-fascism. They absolutely want everyone to be forced to worship as they do.
