18. In part it's because they value what they're fighting for.

More so than we can imagine, as we haven't fought a war on our own soil and for our own freedom since the Civil War.

The russians simply leave theirs to rot in the field, or even dispatch their wounded and leave them. They're dying for the ego of a dictator and dreams of imperial grandeur, but usually join up to get large sums of money, which they or their survivors may never see.

It still destroys me to see so many Ukrainians killed. I believe that if they'd been given the right kinds of weapons in the right quantities, this war would have probably been over a couple of years ago.
