16. Our little beach town celebrated Sandfest this weekend.

It’s annual event featuring sand castle artists who travel a circuit of such events (photos tomorrow).

Our town has a population of about 2,500 permanent residents, but our town has 6,600 golf carts. The tourists love to rent them . As they are slower than the cars and trucks they share the roadways and the beach with, they fly flags to increase their visibility.

Today, one had a flag that read God, Guns, and Trump. I don’t think the first and last word can coexist in the same sentence.
