(Also, IIRC, some ICE Facebook pages were in the news 3 or 4 years ago (maybe) for egregious examples of misogyny and racism. I remember how disheartening those revelations were.)

The thug who lied about Andry Romero (gay hairdresser sent to El Salvador) was a former cop who had lied about other cases and had substance use issues that got him fired. So you know they were so bad no other city would hire him. But ICE? Of course.

when they really don't need to do so. I have always suspected that these guys aren't actual ICE agents, but rather run -of-the-mill MAGA thugs who were given uniforms, and told to go crazy. I wouldn't be at all surprised if a bunch of them are J-6ers. It's not like a lot of employers are going to be interested in hiring someone who was fresh out of prison on a pardon for trying to overthrow the US Government. The only one interested in them is the guy who pardoned them...

THAT is the question of the DAY, WEEK MONTH. Hell, how can we allow people to be KIDNAPPED off the street will somebody that DOES NOT identify themselves? THIS cannot be a legal arrest or detainment. Wish we could fix this. If we were in control of the Senate or House, we could hold hearings with subpoena power. But we don't. I would like to see someone try to bring it to the floor in Senate or House, Maybe, just Maybe a couple of republicans would sign on? I wouldn't hold my breath though. At least we can get their votes on record for the midterm elections!!
