(14,450 posts)It's just not politically correct or even funny.... I prefer to honor the great Pope Francis as he was a man for peace, feed the starving...a true humanitarian....
Maybe it belonged more in the Lounge....

(14,450 posts)He blabbers daily nonsense so we talk about him and not for ourselves. I tune him out and seek leadership action steps to return to a democracy ... The media and even DU entertain daily the nonsense he blabbers...

(19,647 posts)I didnt think it funny so much as another warning about the narcissist who actually did just joke about being Pope himself.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-jokes-no-1-choice-213700064.html
After a reporter asked Trump who he thought should follow Pope Francis as the next pope, the non-Catholic president offered a response that was entirely in character.
Id like to be pope, Trump joked. Thatd be my No. 1 choice.
I wholeheartedly agree that Pope Francis was indeed a Pope of the people and a true humanitarian. All disrespect is aimed at TSF. I updated the OP title.

(8,156 posts)corrupt organization is fair game. After all. just the existence of the Vatican alone pretty much displays power greed and corruption for all the world to see. Talking about the institution not the passing or the person of the former place holder.

(1,917 posts)May e a warming is needed, though? Something like: warning, this crazed bastard cannot get enough power. He wants to take over countries, rule the world and be pope. He has said each one of these things. Be warned, he is dangerous to everything on this planet.

(3,146 posts)people stop being so easily offended - it has nothing to do with Pope Francis and everything to do with Trump's stupid ambition. Francis would probably have laughed because he knew exactly what Trump was about.
