She thought Donnie Dipshit shared her "Christian values"

Last edited Sat May 3, 2025, 01:34 PM - Edit history (1)

https://www.npr.org/2025/04/16/nx-s1-5338830/trump-federal-cuts-civil-rights-education-investigations

" G has fetal alcohol syndrome, autism, ADHD and a mild intellectual disability. Cupp and her husband adopted G as a toddler, and Cupp asked that NPR use only G's first initial because this story describes the symptoms of G's disabilities and her school's response.

Cupp says that after weeks of trying to get G's school to change the way it handled her daughter's behavior, she filed a complaint with the U.S. Education Department's Office for Civil Rights, or OCR, which investigates discrimination in schools.

Now, Cupp and other parents say their civil rights complaints aren't being investigated. Last week, Cupp joined a lawsuit that aims to force the federal government to act on complaints like hers. The lawsuit claims the layoffs have undermined OCR's "ability to fulfill its statutory and regulatory mandate to enforce civil rights laws in schools."

"I just can't fathom that anybody would cut something so vital," says Cupp, a devout Christian. She says she voted for President Trump and thought he shared her beliefs. "But I can't understand why they're doing what they're doing, because that is not what God would intend."

------------------------------------------

This bastardization of Christianity gets me so frickin pissed my hair hurts!

I know so many "christians" just like this lady and her husband.

Note they "adopted" a child with fetal alcohol syndrome. I guaran-fucking-tee you that they felt they were saving this child from her "heathen" mother. They praise themselves as "saviors". I also guarantee you that they close their eyes and beat their breasts in the "front-row" of whatever fucked up church they attend.

Saint Matthew wrote extensively about these pious dipshits in his gospel.

She fucking voted for Donnie Dipshit, because she felt he shared her "Christian Values"?

...she probably has no clue how right she is!

She just assumed "Civil Rights" were only for "undeserving" minority children...not hers.

She gladly voted for, and I would bet supports, sending "immigrants" to an El Salvador Concentration Camp for LIFE without due process, but don't you dare put her child in a padded Blue Room.

Jimmy Carter who taught Sunday school in rotation as part of his presidency. Spent his life feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, ...you know the stuff that Jesus said his followers should do.

I have a friend that retired from the local school district back in Jan. As head of IT, he sat in on all the budget meetings. Soon after the election, I asked him how eliminating the DoEd would affect district funding. He said a bit more the 90% of their funds came from state and local revenue streams, that they would definitely feel the loss but could absorb it. Special needs being the exception, almost all of special needs funding came from the feds. The state would have to step up and fund it or eliminate the special needs programs.

Most states are in the same boat, some kick in extra above what the feds provide, but pretty much all special needs programs would collapse without federal funding. This lady is going to get a major working over by a clue by four right before the leopard eats her face.

The last time Democrats won the presidential white vote was in 1964, Lyndon B. Johnson versus Barry Goldwater.

In every presidential election since then, Democrats have lost the white vote.

White Southerners (mostly evangelical) began to leave the Democratic Party after Democratic President Lyndon Johnson signed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, before then nearly 80 percent of white adults who lived in the 11 states of the former Confederacy identified as Democrats.

Amy, the next time you vote, take some time to know what the candidates actually stand for.
Trump has spent his whole adult life demonstrating a total disregard for "Christian values". The only thing he will actively, completely support is himself.
But he's very good at playing suckers like you; people who want so badly to have someone work for them in government that they fail to actually look behind the campaign hype. He plays on people's fears and prejudices, getting you all riled up over issues that either don't actually exist, or are being greatly distorted. His promises are designed to blind you to his actual agenda.
And, that agenda is to be a dictator instead of a leader, so he can achieve his dream of complete power, total control, and, of course, nearly unlimited personal wealth.

First lesson to learn when dealing with Trump is to understand that he doesn't care about anyone other than himself.

The gospel attributed to Jesus's friend Matthew is the most interesting of the four. It is the first in the Good Book, though likely not the first written. No one can say who wrote it, of course, but it appears to be someone familiar with Jewish tradition and influenced by Greek thought. It is sometimes called the "Buddhist gospel," for obvious reasons.

Here is the very end of the paper.

In this new phenomenon in which children with disabilities from China are being disproportionately exported to the West, we see how both the Chinese government and Western countries attribute the problem to cultural backwardness, all the while perpetuating a cultural politics in which the West maintains its own families by incorporating and rehabilitating Chinese adoptees.

Therefore, any proposed solution to the problem of disabled abandonments in China must take into account not only the Chinese government's lack of welfare provisions and discrimination toward children with disabilities, but also the demand for such children from the West and international structures that facilitate ICAs at the expense of sending countries and in favor of adopting countries. The political and economic inequality rampant and reified through the practice of ICA takes on a eugenic, moral quality with the movement toward the processing of a high number of ICAs of children with disabilities, not just in the case of China but with respect to other countries, as well (Joyce 2013). The fact that there are families in China readily fostering and eager to adopt children with disabilities, and yet they are being disproportionately adopted abroad goes to show that the efforts of ICA are not serving the best interests of Chinese families. And that is a problem that should not merely be the concern of China but of all parties involved.

that, 6,000 years ago, the wealthy and powerful got together for a summit.

"Look, the poor and the unwashed masses are always complaining and demanding stuff. Food, water, shelter, security, honest wages, etc., What if we gave them an invisible sky being that is responsible for EVERYTHING? If we can convince enough of them that their "true" reward comes in their afterlife, they won't pay attention to how much we're screwing them over in this one."
