Aging, Slurring Trump 'Lives in Fear' of Dad's Dementia

Aging, Slurring Trump ‘Lives in Fear’ of Dad’s Dementia

However, the 78-year-old’s vitality has visibly waned and he is acutely aware of his mortality, the panelist added. “As I was watching that clip, you know, one of the things that really struck me is, Donald Trump has aged,” he said.

“He lives in fear of going down the path his father went down, which was dementia, followed by Alzheimer’s, into his 90s. And I think he’s carried that burden forever,” the journalist added.

Fred Trump, a real estate developer, died of both pneumonia and Alzheimer’s disease at age 93 in 1999. This was eight years after his first formal diagnosis of dementia.

“Watching how he answers questions now compared to Trump 1.0, he slurs his words a little, he looks weary, he is slouched. And I don’t know how much authentic enthusiasm he has for the power and the office he holds, other than the fact that it keeps him out of jail and it keeps him center stage,” he added.

While he is significantly worse now, we were seeing the slurring, slouching, and nonsensical "cofeve" crap, and the inability to even walk down a ramp without help even back then. The imbecile was even bragging about the cognitive exam he had to take. He SHOULD BE living in fear of dementia. His decline has been evident in the period between his terms, too. Whatever he has been snorting isn't helping, either It's just speeding it up. This fucker hasn't even hit 80 yet. I'll be shocked if he makes it to then, let alone 93, like his father.

But some power behind the scenes needed a puppet, and he was convenient for what was considered all the right reasons. Has he gotten worse since then? Well, it's certainly gotten harder to hide his deterioration. Whoever thought he would be easily controllable is finding out how wrong they were and are.

long suspected he's on medication that is not made public. At times he seems hyper and other times he's dragging himself around, but that may be age.

After observing many presidents, it occurs to me that it's often more about who surrounds the POTUS that counts. This current WH reflects djt's entire life of surrounding himself with devoted, but disreputable, people.

He had just gotten back from his exam and wanted to talk about how he aced it, but when he got to that part of the story he just looked around the room and came up with “man woman etc. etc.”. It’s been pointed out here before; that particular test doesn’t use such related words. He forgot the test he took, after only a couple hours, and made up his own version.

I’d love to know how he actually did on that test…🤔

20. Aging does a lot of things to us, some starting early in their 50s
Mon May 5, 2025, 03:47 PM
May 2025

but affecting most of us by our late 70s. One of the main things is slowed nerve conduction which can give the apparanace of things ;like decreased mobility and senility even when those conditions don't yet exist. Our gait slows and becomes shuffling, our speech slows and might become indistinct, and it takes us a bit longer to get a thought from brain to mouth. Bodies wear out, but the people inside them are mostly still there.

I've noticed the slowing of That Fat Grifter's speech along with the slurring. I've noticed that he's waddling around more slowly. Neither of these things is an indicator of dementia.

What is an indicator of encyclopedic ignorance, delusion, free floating rage, outright stupidity, and yes, signs of dementia is the content of his speech. Yes, I know it's painful to listen to, but that's where you'll find dementia.

Mon May 5, 2025, 05:54 PM
May 2025

Once his second term was done, I couldn't help noticing how glaringly his decline proceeded. Reagan had often spoken in glowing terms about how he saw his "post-Presidency", and how he couldn't wait to hit what he called "the mashed potato circuit" - which was a reference to banquet-related - and highly lucrative - speaking engagements. It was easy to tell how much he was looking forward to it.

But after he left the White House, Reagan kinda disappeared. Later on, in his second term, everybody around him, ESPECIALLY including Nancy, fiercely protected him. After he left office they almost never let him out in public, limiting (or outright canceling) his bookings during which his behavior would likely blab the truth of his declining mental acuity. Since I intensely didn't like Reagan, the fact that he had almost NO further public exposure was a MOST welcome turn of events for me. But it also made me wonder if he wasn't even farther gone, mentally, than many of us had suspected.
