(11,479 posts)and claims to be 21, than this was "posted" in 1991, and it would not have looked as polished as this. The internet did exist - I used a version of it in 1979 and it was text-based. The layout here says "browser" to me, and web browsers were in their infancy then - Mosaic came out in the early 1990s - 1994 or 95 - and web access didn't become widespread outside of universities and corporations until the late 1990s (Mr. Retrograde worked on a joint Netscape/Sun project at that time). I have no problem believing that Mel put out some ads like this, but they would have been print-oriented in 1991.
