The first dire signs of trouble

Mario Cordero, CEO of the Port of Long Beach joins Nicolle Wallace on Deadline White House to discuss the impact that tariff policy initiated by Donald Trump have had on imports to his port which is one of the largest container ports in the United States and the impact that it will have on jobs that depend on an active flow of shipping and the price increases it will have on all American consumers.

A lot of MAGAts will lose their jobs as longshoremen and truckers. And a LOT of small businesses will go under.

The route is usually completely congested with hundreds of semis. Today, a few dozen the entire route. Easy travel. Bad for the US economy.

3. On local news (L.A.), they were talking to a Hispanic trucker. "He said, we just need to wait this out."

"It's going to take time. We'll be alright. The current administration knows what it's doing."
My gawd.
Trump could slap them in the face, and deny he did it: and they'd hold their red faces and agree with him.

And last fall - outraged at the price of eggs. Unwilling to "wait it out" then.

Now willing to wait until hell freezes over as they're being boiled to death in a pot.

What a chock, they've only been raising the alarm every time that fool made a speech over the past 2 years.

Anyone who is surprised by any of this fallout from his stupid fucking tariff idea has simply not paid any attention, at all.

It's going to be a hot time in the old town this summer and every day thereafter for God knows how long. I look at this whole mess as a war against the people of this country. I heard someone say something like this a couple days ago: "Common sense tells us if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But Trump says If it ain't broke, break it."
