The route is usually completely congested with hundreds of semis. Today, a few dozen the entire route. Easy travel. Bad for the US economy.

Trump could slap them in the face, and deny he did it: and they'd hold their red faces and agree with him.
They cried every minute during the pandemic about how bad things were under Biden. During a fucking pandemic that the Orange idiot mishandled.

Anyone who is surprised by any of this fallout from his stupid fucking tariff idea has simply not paid any attention, at all.

I heard someone say something like this a couple days ago: "Common sense tells us if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But Trump says If it ain't broke, break it."
