Understand the coup plan. Expose it, Explain it and encourage everyone to do the right and appropriate thing to stop it

The plan is pretty clear.
Create a disaster by weakening cyber and military defense. In the ensuing grid and communications failure, using a cabal of “replacement” security and military people, take complete control of the country and hand control to Putin. Hegseth is PURGING THE MILITARY of its leaders. This is a coup in motion.
CALL IT OUT. IT’S TREASON. LET PEOPLE KNOW.

In Sun-Tzu fashion, knowing the plan prepares loyal people to defeat it.
Exposing it makes people aware, eliminates the "element of surprise", gains opposition to it and encourages courageous people to do the right thing using whatever power they have.
For most of us, it’s exposing the plan and demonstrating our support of democracy and the constitution.
Cyber and military forces are being purged of loyal people.
Grid failures have occurred in Europe and Bali. These are likely rehearsals by Putin and allies (including his orange useful idiot), as are cable cuttings and drone sideshows.
Previously, I thought this was only to confuse everyone and seize power, but it clearly becomes a plan to put Putin in control, if not office.
Trump’s debt to Putin must be enormous. I would guess that it’s infinitely more damning evidence than a so-called “pee tape”. I would guess that it’s an Epstein type event where the “P” stands for something else.

In a previous post, it was somewhat ambiguous whether those foreign nations would act as adversaries or "Friends of our orange dictator."
It is possible that they would act together, since Trump "left the barn door open" and even that Putin would enter the fray and even turn on his useful idiot. He has a history.

A massive hack (just blame anyone) takes down the entire U.S. internet, water and power plants and government communications.
Key to this is the use of home phones by Hegseth and company. Home phones, despite a secure messaging app like Signal, are trivially hacked to capture the screen, cameras and microphones, making security meaningless.
The rehearsal of the larger hack is the fact that China infiltrated major telcos, which called for emergency actions by Joe Biden. Much of Biden’s security directives have been undone, especially by the appointment of clowns, including the recent firing of the head of NSA.

A physical attack is made on the US, given it’s new clowncar security by cronies with no expertise. These may include a terrorist missile attack on the White House/Capitol/Golf Resort, major cities in blue states, Wall Street. Lax defense leadership, concerned only with DEI, makes this attack an easy one. Hegseth is purging military leaders. This is the precursor to a coup no matter how you slice it or dice it.
Defense? With all the ideologically motivated firings in defense and air traffic control, commercial planes are crashing. Consider air and other defense a sieve.
And with freshly angered enemies overseas (Does the name Iran strike a familiar note?) they overcome their incompetence in combination with lax security, open the door to a quick submarine/land or terrorist cell attack. Cuba? Sure. Submarine? No offense to the Navy and Coast Guard, their calls to Washington are ignored. (on purpose?)

An insider has had enough of the treason and manages to expose some damning evidence. Using AI?
That may include Musk’s election hacking, the Putin files on his orange Krasnov, or who knows what. Everyone has a conscience inside, despite all efforts to stifle it. This may even include (a takedown of) Putin himself, either through illness or a precision attack on him from any number of enemies.
Enough people, aware of this Putin coup attempt, will stop it in its tracks.
Side note: If you were a former president or VP watching the country being destroyed in a coup, would you remain silent?
I suspect, only if you are building a solid case for removal so solid that cult collaborators in the house and senate would impeach (especially in any of the above scenarios, including treason, which is NOT a proper presidential duty), based on predictable consequences of the current situation. And a practical national recovery. The scenario above may be what Schumer is referring to, though it’s definitely NOT “letting him fail due to incompetence."
But so extreme that impeachment is superfluous. Traitors are arrested and held for trial.

Putin might enter the fray and dispense with his useful idiot. He has a history, and the idiot has gone off the deep end lately. Worried????
THE RESCUE. PEOPLE DO THE RIGHT THING
In the third case, people with leverage step in to do the right thing. We can encourage them to do so with speeches, posts, exhortations, calls and messages, and demonstrations. That is our leverage. Our actions may be uncoordinated in a physical power sense, but there is power in our collective will to do good as each can, and encourage resistance to the coup as it unfolds.
There's the true story of Stanislav Petrov, a Russian who received a launch code for a retaliatory missile attack. He alone correctly concluded that the alert was erroneous, preventing a nuclear disaster.

But a lot of people ignored both the warnings and the hopeful messages, and believed a bunch of lies and fantasies instead.
People want confirmation of their biases rather than truth, because the truth is that there is inequity and injustice on a grand scale, and it's easier to do nothing and blame someone, anyone. (It usually starts with immigrants)

Put Putin in office, in the US?
Putin can barely field an army to fight Ukraine, he’s not going to take over the US. I’m sure he is quite satisfied with the destabilizing chaos provided by his minion, Donald.
So, is Trump going to issue an EO announcing Putin is the new emperor of the US, or will Putin announce it himself?
