This is the best deep dive on this I've seen. Steve Eisman was one of the people played in The Big Short. He was played by Steve Carell. Near the end the guest suggests it's going to get way worse than Wall Street is currently understanding.

but many of the rest of us know, and can see plainly, that it's going to be bad. Whether it's just bad or really, really bad, remains to be seen.
