tomorrow the cardials begin to choose the next Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. The main contenders from each of the idealogical bases are:

Cardinal Erdo reactionary very conservative Cardinal from Hungary

Cardinal Tagle progressive leaning Cardinal from the Phillipines

Cardinal Parolin middle of the road current Vatican Secretary of State

1. Haven't a clue, but Francis did stack the deck with a majority of cardinals

who who leaned toward his more progressive views.

it does diminish the chances of a conservative.
