Willard Romney's big problem, he comes off as too FAKE

I have watched all the debates and Mitt has a very heavy aura of being someone who is trying very hard not to seem phony, but still despite his best efforts seems like a total fake and insincere. No wonder he was very offended, lol, when he said something like "I'm not questioned on my integrity very often, and how dare you question me on this!" in the last debate.

Even repubs are feeling his phony baloney meter is off the charts, and are finding it hard to trust what he says, hence why they are hesitant to vote for him. Romney has the champion used car salesman look and aura down pat, and he can't help it either.

I can't do 10 seconds of their empty blathering. I have a hard time even listening to discussion about their blathering; it's hard for me to recognize how anyone could even treat a discussion of their blathering as a serious topic. Their words are so false and disconnected from reality at every turn. It leaves me speechless.

5. Personally, I think it's more that he comes off as weak and uncertain.

He certainly seems fake-- I can't argue with that. He seems like a gameshow host.

But Republicans cheer for transparently fake charlatans all the time. It doesn't get much more phoney than Newt Gingrich feigning indignation at questions of his personality amorality and utter hypocrisy-- but they loved that. He delivered it forcefully and smugly and they ate it up.

Right wingers worship strength, and that's really it. Everything else is bullshit, and they drop it the moment it's inconvenient.

What Romney needs is a voice and acting coach. He always seems self-conscious and almost frightened. It comes through in his voice and posture.

I agree, he does seem weak in his mannerisms and the way he conducts himself. He is not "macho" at all, and seems more metrosexual or something, and maybe the repubs pick up on that too.

does come across as genuine, because he really is an arrogant egomaniac, and believes what he says is the TRUTH.

acceptable level of fake is pretending to care about those in difficult financial situations.

not acceptable is claiming you are one of them by saying you worried about getting the pink slip a few times.

It was amazing to see both dems and repubs reacting the same way to the photo. The repub establishment has a serious problem on their hands.

The more he tries to 'fit in' and become "every guy" the more it shows that he has absolutely no clue what it is like to live as an Average American, which just exasperates the gap even more.

Perhaps he has arthritis or something but he walks in a funny way - that says "weak". Yet, I do not believe he is weak. He'd probably knock down most anyone to make another dollar. His sons look so tough but never served in the military despite Romney's support for war and its profits. The mixed messages Romney sends out only make sense if he is just an opportunist out to increase his own personal wealth and invite others to do the same no matter what the consequences are for everyone else. Social Darwinism is the name of the game. Funny that those who do not believe in Darwinism believe in Social Darwinism - survival of the "fittest".
