I submitted my federal tax return at least a week before the mid-April deadline,

which was accepted the same day, and have still not received my refund. Anyone else?

Refund was rather large due to overpaying taxes on Mother in Laws inheritance. Filled out the paperwork, ended up having to talk to the IRS. Just checked, refend is still not being processed.

With that the Agent did state it will take 9 to 12 weeks!

You can log in to check refund status, a bit of a PIA, but at least you can see movement, or lack of.

As a tax preparer the IRS will say that up to 21 days is considered normal. Have you checked the “where’s my refund” page on the IRS website? That will tell you. Need to know your social security number, filing status and exact refund amount. But they should tell you there what the status is.
