I'm now a David Hogg fan

I saw David Hogg on Maher and I saw him debate James Carville on YouTube. He did great. Both videos are worth watching.

I especially enjoyed the debate with Carville. Carville had earlier called Hogg a "twerp." By the end of the debate, Hogg had Carville eating out of his hand. That's a pretty amazing feat in my book.

5. Hogg has wonderful aspirations for people. But honestly, when Maher asked how he achieves that in today's

world with trump and GOPer hatred/idoicy, he offered absolutely nothing that will help us win in midterms. We've heard it before. IMO, we will be crushed if that's our message beginning this Fall.

We need a big win in House to ever have a chance of achieving that vision which isn't much different from most Democrats for that past 30 years or more.

I do believe Hogg -- or people who believe similar -- should be part of DNC policy making.

My wife still watches his "Real Time" show, but I told her I'm done with Bill Maher. Neverthelss, she put it on when we were watching TV. I was about to leave the room, then she told me Al Gore was the first guest. I stayed for that, but no more.
