Is it just me or does Tom Holman look like he has alcohol induced symptoms of Rosacea?

Put a top hat on him and give him a cane and you have the spitting image of
W.C. Fields.

It occurs in fair skinned people for unknown reasons and is made worse by alchohol, sun/heat exposure, spicy food and several other factors. One characteristic of rosacea is inflamed facial skin. The stereotype of the “drunken Irishman” is based in the prevalence of the condition among descendants of the Fair Isles. The condition is well known among my Irish family, since our ancestors immigrated after the 1916 Rising to avoid imprisonment by the British.

However, I agree that Tom Holman is probably a drunk, since he could only rationalize his despicable cruelty from the bottom of a barrel of rotgut.

Rosacea is basically adult acne. I’ve had it for several years. Heat exacerbates it for me.

Rosacea - Symptoms and causes - Mayo Clinic
Rosacea (roe-ZAY-she-uh) is a common skin condition that causes flushing or long-term redness on your face. It also may cause enlarged blood vessels and small, pus-filled bumps. As a white supremacist,[2] Bull Connor enforced legal racial segregation and denied civil rights to black citizens, especially during 1963's Birmingham campaign led by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. He is well known for directing the use of fire hoses and police attack dogs against civil rights activists, including against children supporting the protests.[3] National media broadcast these tactics on television, horrifying much of the world. The outrages served as catalysts for major social and legal change in the Southern United States and contributed to passage by the United States Congress of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
