Apparently he's not old or educated enough to understand that arrogance alone can cause autocrats to do the unthinkable. Imagine if a new version of Hitler gained control of these autonomous WMD and decided to unleash them on Europe or Canada or China believing he would then rule the world.

They could be dangerous though in the hands of bad people.
Like that killer drone that was shown.
It explodes, showering a target with shrapnel.
