News about section 88 and more.
"Section 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), also known as Article 88, addresses the offense of "Contempt toward officials." It specifically targets commissioned officers who use contemptuous words against certain individuals, including the President, Vice President, Congress, and other high-ranking officials."
This will now include off duty, social media, etc
Also planning on dropping high school diploma or GED requirement, presumably to open the doors for MAGATs and others without the mental capacity to refuse illegal orders.

(2,573 posts)He wants a mindless, loyal army, one that will obey any orders given, even immoral and illegal ones. The end game is to use these soldiers against the American public, like those at peaceful protests, or against judicial or political enemies who speak out against this regime.
Scary stuff.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
