Me: Yes, he still needs to poop.

Neighbor: Did you hear the big news?

Me: What big news?

Neighbor: Joe Biden's got cancer!

Me: Donald Trump's got dementia!

Neighbor: No, not Trump. Joe Biden's got stage 3 cancer. I heard it on the radio!

Me: Joe Biden is not the president. Donald Trump is the president and he has dementia. He's batshit crazy.

Neighbor: Joe Biden's got stage 3 cancer and he's going to die.

Me: We're all going to die.

Neighbor: I'm not religious so that has nothing to do with me.

Edited to add: As I was walking away he said "You're just jealous because Trump is president and he doesn't have cancer."

3. That's what it feels like.

Every time he sees me I'm walking my dog. He comes walking straight at us usually talking loudly. I always put my hand out and tell him to stop, don't come any closer. He's oblivious to the fact that my dog is freaking out because of his approach. He just keeps doing it.

I am pretty sure he's mentally ill. There is no way to turn him off. So I just keep walking.

evidence that he is mentally ill. Healthy, well-adjusted people do not exhibit these rather unsettling symptoms.

9. No, he doesn't make a lot of sense.

I know I shouldn't even try to answer the political stuff.

But it really irks me that he ignores my warnings about my dog. My dog clearly thinks he's a threat, and would bite him if he got the chance. That would be bad.

Most people have sense enough to back off when a dog owner asks them to. Moving towards him and making eye contact is very threatening.
