I just started 3 months ago. Until now not a problem.
My bank tells me it hasn't received it yet.
Today is payday.
I am lucky that the ss office is still open in my small town.
Going to be waiting for the doors to open at 9am Pacific.

1. I recommend making an appointment online, which will give you priority over signing up in the waiting room

4. Yes - Double check to find out whether, or not, they

require an appointment because many offices now do.

I’ve been receiving SS since March & did get my check on schedule.

6. It's been a while since I turned 65, but I made the appointment for 9 AM

I got to their office at 8:45. The waiting room was packed. I sat down. At 9AM, the interior doors opened, representatives came out, and my name was called.

I assumed all those waiting did not have appointments

5. Mine dropped on Monday morning.

It's supposed to be 'on or about, the third Wednesday' which is today, but my credit union always clears it on the Monday before, unless the banks are closed.

11. And so it begins again. "My SS hasn't been deposited!" Well, my May SS was deposited 2 days early.

A couple of months ago here at DU we had a poster who was concerned because his SS check was deposited minutes late (it usually arrived at midnight). It came a 1:30 a.m.
But I don't think I've seen a panic post here about it in months now.

Let's face it, if people were not getting their SS checks because of something Doge or Musk had done we would see hundred of DUer posting that they didn't get their checks deposited.
