Prices going up at the grocery store

Tuna sales price this week higher then last weeks regular price. Yogurt price up. And so it goes.

BUT, and this is a big BUT. Don’t blame the president for trumpenomics. He knows some shit. Just ask Leavitt. He knows the art of the deal. Fuck retailers and their customers then blame someone else loudly and often. Repeat after trump, don’t blame tariffs.

We take 100 bucks of groceries to the local food pantry each month. 100 bucks don’t go as far today as it did yesterday. Multiply example by millions. Less resources to feed those who can’t afford to go to the grocery store. But don’t blame trump, the essence of the deal.

Oh did I tell you, we live in a red state. The local food pantry does a booming business

I'll start now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Do you have a list of good things to buy for the pantry?

Hundred bucks worth of canned soup weighs a lot more than a hundred bucks worth of tuna pouches. I go for the lighter Stuff. It’s an old guy thing. Powdered mash potatoes are handy. Scour your grocery store ads for bargains. Store brand cereals are good. Keep the kids in mind. Happy Shopping. I’m happy we are able to do it. Get a few bucks worth during each visit. It adds up in a month.

a multi thousand dollar donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies in Denver every year. Sometimes we double it, in the same year like during Covid...... Money is much better than people giving goods YOU bought at the store. The Food Bank of the Rockies can BUY the food at a much lower wholesale cost than the prices you paid at the store.

Food Bank of the Rockies has Tons of volunteers, and their admin costs are 2-3%.........A great operation.........
Thank goodness we are in a Bright Blue State........Not sure as a Dem that I would be donating food to all the Republican Voters in a RED state, who are getting directly screwed by the Party they voted for.....(just saying).....

It is a known fact that Walmart, due to their low wages, tells their employees about all the free things offered by community groups, and governments.......Costco, on the other hand, pays their employees much better, and their employees don't have to rely on free hand outs nearly as much, or at all, to live....

Pointing this out everyday! Go to store and film prices. Blame it directly on trump point out food was cheaper 6 months ago. Repetition matters.

Stickers of chumps head and pointing finger, I DID THIS!
Soft stick so the stores can't say it's vandalism.
