The billionaires don't want money going to useless eaters who soak up money that belongs to the rich.

a nursing home do not realize that Medicaid is paying for that. They simply don't know. Someone is paying is all they know.

When grandma gets kicked out of the nursing home, though, they'll find out. Won't that be a surprise?

End of life health care is hugely expensive and labor intensive. I've been through it with both my and my wife's parents. All their financial planning went down the drain faster than you can believe. It's possible to extend life far beyond its natural span these days, and people opt to do that very often. Problem is that quality of life deteriorates to a horrendous degree if you try to delay death beyond a reasonable time.

As we all grow older, we need to take those things into consideration for ourselves. Plan for it before you are no longer able to make plans. If you don't, your children and grandchildren will have to make those decisions. It's a horrible burden to place on their shoulders, frankly.

Hard to think about, yes, but essential.

kind of area where specialists might be available at the nearest hospital only one week a month. In another rural area with a small hospital less than ten miles from the farm my grandfather owned, their hospital has had to suspend some services/programs and get local aid via a higher local sales tax. The spending cuts in this bill will shut a lot of those small-town hospitals down. Especially with the Medicare cuts the bill will also trigger because it adds so much to the country's debt.

But Trump and the politicians supporting him do not care about the rural areas that voted for him.

That's always been the plan. Think of all the money saved that .Trump and his rich pals will have to spend.

I will stay in my house even if I have to crawl around on my hands and knees. Anything is better than a nursing home.
