Trump tariff in effect at Dollar Tree - Aluminum foil disposable containers are $1.75 - Same containers were $1.25

during the holiday season. I bought the same containers for $1.25 during Thanksgiving and Christmas. SMDH. Thanks trump supporters. I was also trying to find some water toys for my 2 yr old niece for her kiddie pool. Had to go to 3 stores to find them. Maybe they were sold out at the other 2 because of the holiday weekend, or maybe less products in the stores due to less shipment because of tariffs. My guess is the latter, Dollar tree is my usual go to for things I need for backyard gatherings, they did not have the vast array of items I am used to seeing for the summer. Couldn't find the light up cups that the kids love. SMDH.

My experience in the local Dollar Store here is that $1.50 is the new $1.25, which used to be the old $1.00.

3. I know they increased to $1.25 awhile back but I was shocked to see $1.75 today. That is a 40% increase

I’d love to hear those that claimed Trump is good for the economy, explain why a 40% increase is a good thing.
