33. How is it a mistake, MSNBC is about to be no more. You might not like Ari, but how is it a mistake?

Comcast is spinning off bad assets, including MSNBC, CNBC, USA Network, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, and Golf Channel. These are the channels they could not sell off individuality. The new company will be called "Versant", and will be ran by Mark Lazarus.

His job is to trim all fat and makes these channels more appealing to investors. If they can be sold good, if not they will be shuttered

7. I Still Like Ari

The hip hop stuff never really bothered me. He does occasionally host people from ‘the other side’, but for the most part they aren’t the worst wing nuts and I generally found the interviews interesting. But I’d be fine with Katie Phang. Her rapid vocal pace got on my nerves at first, but she seems to have modulated that and she does a good job.

That said I haven’t watched msnbc since election night. I get my news here, FSTV and the AbC evening news to get the narrative of the corporate media. And sometimes CBS.
