Why does everything in The Mikado remind me...

of Trump and his administration?

I was listening to it this week while exercising,
and the parallels just stuck out like a banshee
waving a Trump flag.

I performed on a production of the Mikado in the 80s and I keep thinking the same thing.
“I’ve got a little list,” … “You can put them on the list, you can put them on the list, and they’ll none of them be missed.
They’ll none of them be missed.”

Or maybe Miller?

BTW, have you seen Topsy Turvy? If not, you should.

Yes, I've seen Topsy Turvy. Great movie.

Maybe I'll watch it again.

I bet it was fun playing in G & S!

Way back in the day, there was a guy at my
university who sang in G&S operas in Houston.

He also did a great Mr Peacham in The Three
Penny Opera.

I was involved with a light opera company that did G&S and musical comedy. I played Meg Brockie in Brigadoon and Vera Charles in Mame.

We had a blast.
