Musk's revisionist history of his government bank heist is making me reach for the hip boots
Before he bought Twitter, I didn't know much about Musk, other than his stupid circus freak face selfies, and the fact that the Saturday Night Live cast really did not enjoy having him as a guest host.
I think most people on DU know what he did and did not "accomplish" under his DOGE ruse, so there's no need to rehash it here.
And I'm not going to link to his Tweets, where he positions himself between Joan of Arc and Jesse Owens. breaking the world record for the 220 yard dash.

If you look at his tweets, the fanboys are replying with splooge-y wet kisses and "the nation owes you a debt of gratitude."
He boasted TWO TRILLION in "savings." So far, he hasn't offered documentation on the ONE HUNDRED SIXTY BILLION he's CLAIMING.
I NEVER thought I'd say this, but in terms of self-delusion, malignant narcissism, serial lying, and flat-out sociopathic behavior, Musk IS more disturbing than Trump. He saw a weak, foolish, vulnerable old man in a state of rapid decline, and thought he could swoop down and pick the carcass clean. He DID, but I don't think he anticipated the damage to his "personal brand." But if you read the tweets, he thinks he's Jesus, just like Trump.
