In order to get a stay of the ruling on tariffs, trump's attorneys had to promise to refund all tariffs

trump's attorneys had to make the legal commitment to refund all tariffs in order to get a stay of the rulings on trump's tariffs. The court of appeals issued the stay of the two injunctions based on the agreement by the trump administration to refund all tariffs if the ruling of these two courts are upheld on appeal.

BREAKING - Trump admin pledges to refund tariffs: Donald Trump’s Justice Department persuaded the U.S. Court of Appeals to stay the lower court’s injunction on his emergency tariffs—after pledging to refund anyone who paid them if it ultimately loses. In its filings, the government stated, “If tariffs imposed on plaintiffs during these appeals are ultimately held unlawful, then the government will issue refunds to plaintiffs, including any post-judgment interest that accrues.” The court granted the stay.

Krasnov is in his glory,

Billions going to him from crypto, and I suppose government money goes into his sovereign wealth fund that he can use for quid pro quos.

This one made me laugh out loud.

What's that "W" saying,? Fool me once, fool me twice, fool me 3 times, fool me 4 times, fool me every time, I'm either really stupid or complicit.

12. The attorneys for the plaintiffs challenging trump's tariffs do not believe that refunds are sufficient

The offer by the trump attorneys to give refunds is not sufficient to compensate the persons having to pay these tariffs. The people being forced to pay the tariffs are not fully compensated for their damages by mere refunds

The plaintiffs need to be fully compensated for any damages suffered due to the trump tariffs

a small business could easily be wiped out by these tariffs. For the Walmarts of this world this might work well but for Jim's imports and stuff not so much.

The trump attorneys had to make this minor concession to get a stay. This concession will NOT compensate people hurt by these tariffs which is why the motion referenced above was filed
