8. I'm confused on this.

She's entering on a Tourist Visa but non-citizen spouses of US Military members usually enter on Immigrant Visas. Normally when the soldier's chain of command approves the marriage they help get the immigration paperwork expedited. Seems like some information missing.

Regardless, this whole thing is heinous. Absolutely disgusting. There's absolutely no reason or excuse to treat anyone like that.
