(62,566 posts)There's absolutely no good reason to create or circulate AI slop.
We've all seen the stories about Stephen Miller's wife and Elon Musk. This adds nothing to them.

This one is pretty funny.

(59,292 posts)Don't get me wrong -- I loathe and despise "AI" on nearly all fronts.
Yet, it seems like the perfect medium for anything to do with the tRump administration. No human should have to suffer the indignity of wasting their own time and talent and resources on anything pertaining to Taco Don and his carnival of bullshit and snake oil. He's not worth anything more than pure slop.

(62,566 posts)posted gives a thumbs-up to the AI bros who exploited them.
Real photos and video of Trump and his enablers are already more damning than anything you can do with AI slop. The AI slop also takes attention away from real artists, cartoonists and satirists, and from real articles about real outrages committed by the Trump regime and enablers.

(62,566 posts)using AI. If you look at the right side of the boombox handle, you'll see a typical AI error.

(24,679 posts)An actual photograph that serves as prima facie evidence of gross criminal insanity , plain as day.

So, A.I. or no-A.I., why is this insane Russian KGB rat-kissing traitor given a pass by Corporate McPravda and the military?
PS: Thanks for another great OP, Botany! The AI-generated image tells the story -- beginning, middle and end.
PPS: I am so glad Stephen Miller's wife is off the government teat. Can't wait for Stevie the Treasonous Tacohumper to get the weaning and reaming he so justly deserves.

(62,566 posts)not need every nitwit with an image generator - and no concern about intellectual property theft and environmental damage - to have that AI tool spit out God only knows how many hopelessly flawed images on this theme till they get one that's worth posting (if they have no ethics).
REAL photographs are interesting.
REAL art or cartoons showing actual talent and a real human's take on a subject are interesting.
But a conscienceless AI user could generate and post a thousand AI-slop images on that subject, and it wouldn't add one iota to understanding it, or revealing talent or another person's take on it. AI slop is just garbage making the internet worse.
