Let that sink in: a sitting U.S. president, meeting with the leader of modern Germany, downplayed the defeat of Nazism. Because he doesnt know any better. Because he doesnt care. Because, in his rotted worldview, winners are strong, losers are weak, and history is just a PR obstacle. Trump doesnt honor D-Day because he doesnt understand it. Theres no grift in sacrifice. No spotlight in humility. No Trump Tower on Omaha Beach.
Were not just dealing with ignorance. Were dealing with someone who turns our national legacy into an open-mic night for fascist nostalgia. This was a moment to reaffirm shared values, to remember the blood and bravery that made freedom possible. Instead, Trump turned it into a punchlineand got punched back by a German bureaucrat with receipts.

Trump only thinks of his money. He sees the military as a useful tool to further his business interests, and for honoring himself.
