Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson

was a great pick for the court. She is thoughtful, compassionate, intelligent, and fearless. I think she will leave a mark on the court and the country.

Kudos to Joe Biden and the Senate for selecting her.

I'm hoping I live long enough to see the Supreme Court add more Democratic SC justices and Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson becomes the Chief Justice in my lifetime.

about how the Ds have 'let us down' - and (in my case) that is inclusive of people that did vote in 24 - but can't seem to help themselves from continuing to trash ....

Words matter.

so many, especially in the media, are quick to attack Democrats, like Democrats are supposed to be perfect in every respect, all the time.

Democrats are not responsible for the incompetence, corruption, and dishonesty of republicans yet they are expected to equally share the blame all the time.

It's unlikely that Jackson becomes Chief Justice. It's easier to just put a new Justice on and make them Chief than to promote a current Justice to Chief. Only five of the seventeen Chief Justices were Associates first, and Charles Evans Hughes had actually resigned to run for president in 1916, so he wasn't still on the court when he was nominated to be Chief in 1930.

But if (R)'s ever get a super majority in the Senate with a majority House, they would impeach every liberal female in the court.
They would find any reason to do so.

You can call Bill Clinton and Joe Biden centrist all you want, but they made two of the best SCOTUS choices ever (I am referring to RBG in Clinton's case).
