The Ukrainian anthem wasn't played at the volleyball tournament in Slovenia for the Ukrainian team.

Our athletes sang it without music. Then, they proceeded to win all three sets.

I'm guessing that it was a foul-up, rather than malicious.

I see both mentioned on social media as the venue, but the schedule on Wikipedia has that match in Portugal.

It was Tournament 5, on 7 June.

Is Anton Gerashchenko a reliable source?

On edit:

The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) shows the venue as "Pavilhao de Desportos de VILA DO CONDE", which is in Portugal.

Anton Yuriyovych Gerashchenko is a current official advisor and a former deputy minister at the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs. He is a former member of the Ukrainian parliament from 2014 to 2019, and was the subject of an assassination attempt in part because of his actions, which was prevented by the SBU. Wikipedia
