President Donald Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops and Marines to Los Angeles as immigration-enforcement protests continue will cost about $134 million, a Pentagon official said Tuesday.

Acting Pentagon Comptroller Bryn Woollacott MacDonnell said that estimate is largely based on costs of housing, travel and food for the troops.

McDonnell spoke at a House subcommittee hearing, where Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was testifying.

And they're far more vital to actual National Security than this BS.
Oh, and they were already budgeted last year to not provide any profit to any contractor who was expecting at least 5% when they won the bid. My programs were all cut another 10% over the past two months - there's not enough money to do the jobs, we're scraping through seat cushions just to keep the lights on, because National Security is soooo important.
And I know that's the situation across the Federal Government, in departments critical to safety, health, wellbeing, the National Economy...
...But there's enough money to hold an impromptu parade for a Senile Narcissist's Birthday.
