Trump praised Robert E. Lee.

Robert E. Lee deserves no accolades.

When the Southern army went north of the Mason-Dixon line, they engaged in slave hunts.

Did Lee as head of the commanding army put a stop to this practice? No.

Lee was given the chance to do the right thing by Lincoln; but he refused.

Lee might say he was a child of Virginia but in fact he only lived a few miles from Washington DC.

is what I called it a few times during his first term. I expected him then to make some movement toward restoring slavery, maybe expanding prison labor or worse.
