This photo is RIDICULOUS...THREE National Guardsmen w/ assault rifles "protecting" 2 ICE goons arresting ONE man.

APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE, I don't know how to directly post photos here. I assume I have to use something like Photobucket and post that link. For now, you'll need to click the CNN link to see it.

https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/la-protests-ice-raids-trump-06-11-25#cmbrrll5100003b6mxepvzs1r

Immigration and Customs Enforcement posted images to X on Tuesday of officers detaining individuals in Los Angeles while surrounded by National Guard troops, in what appear to be the first photos showing the Guard’s involvement in ICE operations.

The Trump administration deployed thousands of National Guard troops to California, casting it as a necessary move to quell protests in LA that erupted in a section of the city over ICE enforcement actions.

Multiple sources told CNN the National Guard’s focus while in LA was to protect property and personnel. Its members do not have authority to arrest.

Images shared by ICE on X show authorities arresting individuals, as troops stand by, appearing to guard the area around the operation – in other words, serving as a security perimeter. The caption read: “Photos from today’s ICE Los Angeles immigration enforcement operation.”

Not sure how far back that was. But the method you shared had problems with some outlets using links that had to be "fixed" because they didn't want direct linking on forums / etc chewing up their bandwidth.

I used to have a Photobucket account and used it for all of my posts here. Then, they went through some regrettable drams. I'll check out Post Images and Imgur. Thank you.

11. I hadn't thought about that, and I'm taking screenshots all day long for Facebook posts.

Occasionally I'll do a Google Image Search and right-click to save the file, only to find it's in a format that can't be viewed or shared. When that happens, I take screenshots.

On January 6th as democracy was being assaulted? Why don't they arrest the felon(s) in the White House? Why not send the troops to Ukraine to protect democracy?

So many questions....
