And here's a little ET style tidbit. Bass Reeves was portrayed by Delroy Lindo in a quite nice little Netflix epic titled The Harder They Fall with an all star cast including Idris, Jonathan Majors, Regina King and Damon Wayans Jr.

the only Black legend of the West represented (however factually accurate) in this movie. All in all, it was one kick-ass little number.
