Wife and I went to one of the Jacksonville, FL No Kings Rally's

It was at the steps of the county courthouse. I estimate about 5k people there at the peak, possibly more. Young, old, lots of diversity. Lots of signs. a few Trumper types showed up but the cops watched them closely. They hung around for a short time then left. I'd post photos but I don't know how to here on DU.

We were in Key Largo at the other end of the state and it was the same. Hundreds of ppl, hundreds of car honks, ONE MAGA car drove around the block several times flipping the bird. Everyone laughed!

The other major rally had over 2k there. Jax is so spread out, seeing and hearing of several thousand showing up was a great show for our city.

So good to hear that we are more than we think. Saw a sign today that said "Don't believe everything you think"...thought that was apropos for some of the sourpusses driving by.
