All of the wonderful reports from the No Kings events around the country - and so many of you provided first hand experiences.
Massed people against the orange asshole, compared with the cow flop of a little boy birthday "party" waste of money.
One of those days, for sure.

(12,598 posts)Saying how wonderful DU is more like self-serving fluff. We are a community. Solidarity, and community is essential in times like these. Piling on praise on how wonderful our little corner of the internet is political masturbation. Yes, it feels good. No, it gets us nowhere. Organize, rather than patting ourselves in the back. What we do in the real world matters. I salute and praise everyone on DU who got out and about today to defend the Constitution, and those who were there in spirit. Keyboard warriors less so. Discussion only gets us so far. Activism, fund raising, gets us further,

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
