My newspaper reported the No Kings rally above-the-fold on Page 1

https://cdapress.com/news/2025/jun/15/no-kings-protest-in-coeur-dalene-sees-large-turnout-counter-protest/

Of course counterprotesters brought their guns, as you'd expect, but I suspect (being that this IS Idaho) some of the participants were also walking around packed.

I didn't go to this. My niece went to the Spokane Pride Parade and I went with her. That turned out to be a combination Pride march and No Kings rally - there were several units in that parade that were carrying anti-Trump signs instead of or in addition to Pride signs. One marcher was wearing a "Trump Always Chickens Out" tee with a picture of a taco on it; he was out of sight before I could get his photo, though.

Hmmm - if most people there think like the counter-protestors, why were there significantly more protestors than counter-protestors? Could it be that the counter-protestor is ... WRONG! Gasp!

He meant we DIDN’T GO TO SCHOOL together.

Saw a great sign on here yesterday. I’m not a radical liberal, I just paid attention in civics class.

Someone in the story claimed to be a Christian—but their definition of Christian diverges from mine. My grandmother was a true Christian. There aren’t many, but she was one. I’ve met others as well and these folks are clearly not it. Real Christians don’t carry guns and wear tactical gear.

I was marching in the Pride Parade with members of 3 local churches, including 3 pastors. It was a long day, but a very positive experience with extremely large crowds for both events.

I probably have pictures of your unit.

This is the first one I've been to, but if you've been to others can you tell me if they've always been that bad at releasing units to march? There were way too many long gaps in this.

Town of 7000 in the postal district. About 1300 filled the town Square and along main road. More people driving by honking, cheering etc. Several other towns in the area similar turn out. Mostly younger.

I did not expect to participate at all since I don't get around well. The nephew got out the golf cart rigged up a bubble machine and 2 big coolers of water and a case of granola bars that we passed out to the crowds.
